Happy August! We have so much to celebrate this month, and we're thrilled to share it with you. August is National Wellness Month, Happiness Happens Month, and Black Business Month—a perfect time to nurture our well-being, spread joy, and uplift Black businesses.


Celebrating National Wellness Month


Live Love Spa founded National Wellness Month in 2018 to be celebrated each year during August. This National Month is intended to foster community, connection, and commerce in the Wellness industry. The initiative inspires consumers to focus on wellness and provides a platform for wellness companies to highlight their services and benefits.


At Wellness Reset, we're passionate about supporting your wellness journey, so what better time to commit to your health than during National Wellness Month? We encourage you to take small steps every day that promote self-care, like trying a new yoga pose, drinking more water, or taking a few moments to practice mindfulness. Let’s use this month to refresh and renew our commitment to holistic health and well-being.

    • St. Luke Saturday Class Update:

      Starting September 7th, Saturday classes at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church (7001 Harford Rd) will now be held at 8:00 AM

Health Tip for National Wellness Month


This August, focus on getting plenty of hydration and incorporating nutrient-dense foods into your diet. For an energy boost, try eating more seasonal fruits and vegetables like cucumbers, berries, and leafy greens that thrive in summer. Your body will thank you for the extra nourishment!

Pose of the Month: Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II Pose)



  • Step 1: Start in Mountain Pose and step your feet wide apart, about 3-4 feet.

  • Step 2: Turn your right foot out 90 degrees and your left foot slightly inward.

  • Step 3: Bend your right knee, keeping it aligned with your ankle, and sink your hips low.

  • Step 4: Raise your arms parallel to the floor, reaching actively through both hands and gaze over your right fingertips.

  • Step 5: Hold for 5-8 breaths, then switch sides.


Warrior II encourages a strong and steady foundation, helping to build both physical and mental resilience—perfect for embracing August's energy!

FIT66: A 66-Day Fitness Program

Date: September 8 - November 14, 2024

Location: In-Person & Virtual


Kickstart your wellness journey with FIT66, an empowering 66-day fitness program designed to help you build healthier habits and transform your body and mind. Engage in daily exercises, weekly challenges, and mindful wellness practices that focus on nurturing self-care, cultivating wellness, and improving overall well-being.


Cost: $150 for the full program, which includes access to meal plans, daily workouts, weekly yoga, and individual health coaching sessions.

Date: November 7th - 11th, 2024
